So, I’ve finally done it. Last written exam on the herbal medicine course. This means that I only have one more thing to do here in my time at Lincoln University, and that is my final clinical exam. I have no reason to suspect that I won’t whizz through that considering how well the mock went.
I can’t believe what a journey this has been. Mu herbal medicine journey started 7 years ago now, and my university journey 5 years ago. When I think of what a strain the first 18 months of my university education down at UEL were, and how things there seemed to drag on, I can’t believe how fast the last 3 years at Lincoln university have gone. They’ve been a big three years for me to be honest.
But now, I have a week off – it’s a sunny day and it’s time to celebrate this milestobe with my course colleagues in sharing a meal. This could very well be the last time we are together as a cohesive group, as the clinical finals are individually assessed. That thought saddens me… I think our year has been a great group of people with some very diverse but relevant skills which has made our clinic group very effective and pretty flexible/experienced. I guess leaving the clinic group is the first step into solitary practice!
